How To Confingo Dingo
We are assuming you have installed things before into Joomla so we'll
spend most of the time here showing you how to get things ready if this
is your first time with Dingo. When you have finished with this page,
you will have installed Dingo and added two items to your User Menu.
1. After logging into your Joomla 1.5.x site...
2. Select the COM_DINGO.ZIP package
3. If all is right, this should appear
4. You should know have one of these
5. Adding to the User Menu
Where you put access to Dingo is up to you. Just to get things
rolling, let's assume you want to add two items to your User Menu.
6. Add New and View Control Panel (this applies to versions before Dingo 1.5.8)
If you are configuring for 1.5.8 and beyond, make one new menu item to the control
panel, then login from the front end to grab URLs for those items you want to
add.
Let's add two items to the User Menu. Start by clicking the New button
6. Dingo should appear Menu Item Type
7. Look for these two
8. Make the Control Panel link
9. Then the Add New
10. Set the access level for each new menu item
This would assume you want any registered user to submit items while only
Authors or above can work with task items.
